* For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

* But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

* And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

* Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

* எல்லாவற்றிற்க்கும் முடிவு சமீபமாயிற்று; ஆகையால் தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்து, ஜெபம்பண்ணுவதற்கு ஜாக்கிரதையுள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள்.

* எல்லாவற்றிற்க்கும் மேலாக ஒருவரிலொருவர் ஊக்கமான அன்புள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள்; அன்பு திரளான பாவங்களை மூடும்.

* முறுமுறுப்பில்லாமல் ஒருவரையொருவர் உபசரியுங்கள்.
