* But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

* Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

* He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

* But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.[matthew 13:20 - 23]

* கற்பாறை இடங்களில் விதைக்கப்பட்டவன், வசனத்தைக் கேட்டு, உடனே அதைச் சந்தோஷத்தோடே ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன்;

* ஆகிலும் தனக்குள்ளே வேரில்லாதவனாய், கொஞ்சக்காலமாத்திரம் நிலைத்திருப்பான்; வசனத்தினிமித்தம் உபத்திரவமும், துன்பமும் உண்டானவுடனே இடறலடைவான்.

* முள்ளுள்ள இடங்களில் விதைக்கப்பட்டவன், வசனத்தைக் கேட்கிறவனாயிருந்தும், உலகக்கவலையும் ஐசுவரியத்தின் மயக்கமும் வசனத்தை நெருக்கிப் போடுகிறதினால், அவனும் பலனற்றுப் போவான்.

* நல்ல நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்டவனோ, வசனத்தைக் கேட்கிறவனும் உணருகிறவனுமாயிருந்து, நூறாகவும் அறுபதாகவும் முப்பதாகவும் பலன் தருவான் என்றார். [மத்தேயு 13: 20 - 23]
