உங்கள் ஆண்டவர் இன்ன நாழிகையிலே வருவாரென்று நீங்கள் அறியாதிருக்கிறபடியினால் விழித்திருங்கள். ( மத்தேயு 24:42 )

உன் கையாவது உன் காலாவது உனக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்கினால், அதைத் தறித்து எறிந்துபோடு; நீ இரண்டு கையுடையவனாய், அல்லது இரண்டு காலுடையவனாய் நித்திய அக்கினியிலே தள்ளப்படுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், சப்பாணியாய், அல்லது ஊனனாய், நித்திய ஜீவனுக்குள் பிரவேசிப்பது உனக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும் ( மத்தேயு 18 : 8 )
